Sales Engineer
Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of bid document and costing of system
  • Review of project specification.
  • Preliminary design of refrigeration system and gas compression system, preparation of drawings etc.
  • Liaison with factory
  • Sales presentation i.e. Introduction or screw compressor presentation or new product etc.. (after training and experience)
  • Attend to Technical and Commercial clarification meeting with customer and attend to factory / subvendor clarification meeting.
  • Finding sales lead via article, internet, news etc..
  • Provide distinctive sales strategies & support including but not limited to process systems designs and solutions to satisfy customers’ needs.
  • Developing YPS business in line with company objectives of sustainability, quality earnings and continual growth.
  • Execute the business initiatives and commit to deliver total customer satisfaction and achieve the business results.Identify and organize marketing and promotional activities such as seminars, conferences, exhibitions and any form of event which benefits the business performance monthly activity reports and the necessary plans and reports for YPS business
  • Maintain existing customer base and develop new customer base to ensure continuous business growth
  • Maintain constant field intelligence and feedback pertinent information on competitors activities, product, pricing, business performance and promotional programmes and develop the necessary business strategies to ensure the company excels
  • Conform to corporate policies
  • Communicate and work closely with other departments in ensuring the overall company objectives/performance is achieved at all times.
  • Foster strong customers relationship with all customers enabling the company to be actively leading the market, providing timely responses, highly profitable and realising an excellent payment collection position at all times.
  • Maintain high morale and team spirit in the office environment
  • To observe, promote and practise corporate culture and leadership quality’s.
  • Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior
Requirements:
  • Require traveling in South East Asia.
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Mechanical, electrical, Chemical or Process)
  • Petrochemical / Process background
  • Good communication, analytical, organizing & relationship management skills
  • Must be a proactive team player
  • Broad based engineering background
  • Process & refrigeration knowledge
  • 1+ years successfully selling & managing capital equipment projects in the Petrochemical sector.
