Due to its business needs, its manufacturing arm in Singapore, B.T. Engineering Pte Ltd specializes in fabrication of gas compressor/processing modules, pressure vessels, offshore structures, piping, topside modules, etc, would like to invite applications for the following positions.
CONTROL ENGINEER
Responsibilities:- Responsible for the engineering control system that meets clients’ technical specifications, industry design codes, material specifications and product safety requirements.
- Review, understand and identify the instrument/control systems scope of supply of the assigned projects.
- Evaluate vendor quotation and propose appropriates.
- Review and approve control system drawings and documents before submission to clients and workshop.
- Interface with the client, vendors, production and the project team to ensure that the design meets the client’s specifications and that the design is in compliance with the applicable standards and industry codes.
- Provide directives and work closely with control panel vendors.
Requirements:- Degree/Diploma holder in Engineering preferably major in Electrical & Instrumentation.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several variables.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge and work experience in the design, co-ordination of fabrication and installation of large horsepower gas compressor packages.
- Knowledge of PLC and programming software.
- Proficient with Microsoft office such as Ms words, excel, etc.
- Possess good interpersonal skill.
