We now wish to recruit for the following position:

Warehouse Supervisor
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, he or she will:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest level of safety in warehouse operations
  • Be responsible for organizing, controlling and managing a team of warehouse personnel including Fork Truck Drivers to ensure the orderly execution of warehouse activities
  • Prepare Standard Operating Procedure, conduct periodic internal inspection to ensure compliance with approved Standard Operating Procedures
  • Report all non-conformances and observations, investigate root causes for non-conformances and recommend corrective and preventive actions
  • Responsible for timely equipment maintenance and calibration and execute 5S housekeeping
  • Provide timely inventory information to administrative teams for replenishment of indirect materials
  • Support Cycle counting and stock-take activities
  • Drive Lean / Sigma continuous improvement projects / initiatives within the Department
Requirements:
  • Diploma / Certificates in Logistics / Inventory Control or Warehouse Management
  • Minimum 3 years operating experience of primary MHE (Forklift, Reach Truck)
  • Forklift license will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Familiar with MS office tools
