Senior Engineering Technician

Responsibilities:

• Setup IC tester/handler /prober as per requirements for engineering testing
  
• Provide remote testing support through email/phone instruction for Qualcomm off sites.
  
• Perform testing for engineering samples and collect engineering data as per requirements.
  
• Assist Engineers during new equipment/testers setup
  
• Identify basic handler/tester setup issues and resolve them.
  
• Perform periodic equipment calibration and Preventive maintenance.
  
• Familiar with test socket cleaning, probe card cleaning and load board repair and soldering skills
  
• Skills such as basic debug of load board & probe card is a must.
  
• Be able to read load board schematics and perform basic trouble shooting
  
• Track and maintain Engineering parts inventory
  
• Must be a team player and must be able to work hands-on

Skills/Experience:

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Min 2 years experience on testers/handlers setup, operation and maintenance. Expereince on Verigy 93K, Teradyne testers, Delta/ Seiko Epson/ Synax handlers/ probers / probe card
  
• Soft skills such as Computer literate, familiar with UNIX commands ,must be able to read and speak good English, able to work in shifts and flexible working hours is a must

Education Requirements: Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent
