Desktop Developer (Immediately Available)

An International financial services organisation is URGENTYLY seeking to recruit the skills of a Desktop Developer to start immediately for a large integration project in Singapore. This will be a 13 months contract opportunity.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Support the desktop computing environment
  
• Deployment of banking applications
  
• Participation in project works within Singapore, and/or the region
  
• Provide conference support when required

Experience required:

• At least four years experience acting in an IT desktop support role predominantly supporting Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office suite applications.
  
• Windows scripting/automation experience
  
• Experience in programming languarge eg, VB, C will have added advantage
  
• Some experience with project coordination and execution
  
• Relevant experience in providing desktop support in an international investment bank or trading firm
  
• Demonstrated ability to follow problem through to resolution.
