Customer Development Manager

The Customer Development Manager represents Vision Care organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects in order to sell the organization's products. The position will develop business opportunities across the Johnson & Johnson Vision Care products with the objective of achieving/exceeding sales and profit targets. The role is also responsible for developing positive long-term customer relationships and loyalty with Johnson & Johnson Vision Care as the preferred supplier.

The Customer Development Manager will report to the Sales Manager (Territory Accounts).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage performance and product portfolio of all accounts
  • Sell and service all Independent and Chain customers within designated territory.
  • Deliver against Key Call objectives
  • Submit territory and cycle reports that include qualitative and quantitative information on relevant customer and market issues
  • Installation and follow-up of marketing and trade marketing support programs in selected accounts to increase penetration of ACUVUE disposable contact lenses to drive sales growth
  • Build strong business partnerships with individual accounts to develop the ongoing business
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree. Or Diploma in Optometry with minimum 4 years of retail experience in vision care industry.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in vision care industry or 4 years in FMCG/Pharmaceutical industry
  • Results Driven and ability to manage Territory budget
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Proactive, good team player, and innovative with strong commitment to drive good business result.
Desirable : Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
