Procurement Executive
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, South East Asia, you shall be responsible for all procurement and sourcing activities for Singapore. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in sourcing, procurement and vendor mgt activities especially in the industrial sector

Requirement:

• Degree/Diploma in Business/Purchasing/Procurement
  
• Min 3-5 years of relevant Procurement experience in an MNC or international environment
  
• Experienced in sourcing, procurement, vendor mgt, contract and price negotiations
  
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications and translate this to vendor specifications for review/supply
  
• Import/Export experience in international trading (preferred)
  
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office program (Excel/Word)
  
• Knowledge of ERP software and applications
  
• Knowledge of Inventory Control and Mgt
  
• Must be dynamic and hardworking person
  
• Able to work under pressure
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills as well as demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
  
• Good communication skills in English (written & spoken) and Mandarin
  
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management procedure

Responsibilities:

• Effective and efficient sourcing of primarily C-parts and components
  
• Support Sales in RFQs
  
• Stringent vendor mgt, including vendor evaluation, selection and price negotiations
  
• Aggressive cost down mgt with vendors and realizing Purchase and Sales Price Variance targets
  
• Promote and work on VMI programs
  
• Constantly review Inventory status with oversight responsibility over Inventory Turn Over and Targets
  
• C-ordinate with Purchasers on vendor/supply issues and take charge in addressing any vendor related issues
  
• Anticipate trends in pricing volatility and supply constraints related to the C Parts and advise action steps to address these concerns
  
• Undertake procurement/purchasing projects as directed by Procurement Mgr, South East Asia or Supply Chain Mgr, South East Asia
  
• Be the key interface between the vendors and internal customers (Purchasing, QA, Sales etc)
