Software Engineer (Platform)
Roles and Responsibilities:- Software development for the website and transactional backend of an online gaming portal with millions of users
- Software development for APIs to be used by game developers
- Software development for the business tools used for the deployment and operation of the online gaming portal
- Provide technical design proposals and effort estimates during pre-production
- Works with the platform engineering team, QA and stakeholders to finalize and launch new updates, features, and content to the online gaming portal
Requirements:- Minimum 3 years experience in Java Enterprise software development
- Strong Java EE, Web Development, and SQL skills
- Experience with Linux, PHP, PostgreSQL, SVN and JIRA are added advantages
- Track record for successfully shipping software projects
- Demonstrated ability to work in a software development team with structured processes
- Able to understand business requirements and deliver software that fulfills them
- Able to make practical and effective technical decisions
- Strong commitment to customer and end-user satisfaction
- Experience in the consumer entertainment software industry is a plus
