Mitsui Phenols Singapore is the subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals Inc. We are the manufacturer and sales of Phenol and Acetone and Bisphenol A. Our integrated phenol-BPA complex located in the Jurong Island is now Mitsui's largest overseas phenol-BPA site.

Mechanical Engineer
(Singapore - Jurong Island - Sakra)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing project descriptions and specifications in consultation with other related departments
  
• Create and update engineering documents such as PID, plot plan, equipment list, line size / list, government application list and etc
  
• Prepare project costing as request by relevant department
  
• Provide technical support to related department during project commissioning

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in chemical industry
  
• Have reasonably good understanding of mechanical design standard code of practice
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage contractors independently and effectively
  
• Experience related to project coordination will be an added advantage.
