PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE (Retail/FMCG)

The incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and manage work priorities in a pro-active and flexible manner.

Responsibilities:

• Able to efficiently complete an entire procurement process independently;
  
• Source & evaluate local / overseas vendors;
  
• Negotiate, plan and execute order;
  
• Coordinate with suppliers and forwarding agents to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery;
  
• Keep track of all delivery schedules and shipment dates;
  
• Monitor quality performance;
  
• Maintain and update Approved Vendor List on a monthly basis;
  
• Negotiate for ideal prices & payment terms;
  
• Monitor supplier price movements regularly; and
  
• Responsible for all activities associated with regulatory clearance, etc. to ensure compliance with HSA regulations.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Purchasing Management or Business Administration or equivalent
  
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in retail / FMCG industry
• Proficient in MS Word & Excel
  
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin for effective communication
  
• Must be able to liaise with Mandarin-speaking vendors
• Confident & self-motivated
  
• Good analytical & & negotiation skill
  
• Able to work independently and have initiative
  
• 5 days work week (Mon-Fri)
  
• Singaporean / Singapore Permanent Resident ONLY
  
• Work location : near Tanjong Pagar MRT

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the evaluation and analysis of business sector performance as well as performance reporting for the business units. You will provide analysis in terms of business intelligence, statistical profile and analysis of the Bank's customers and business.
